The Talbot Group is a privately owned business, with over 420 staff employed and 250 clients availing of our services in Ireland. In the early 2000s, as well as expanding our nursing home business, we also expanded our residential care expertise into residential services for adults with significant learning disabilities.

Volunteer Stroke Scheme

The Volunteer Stroke Scheme was set up in 1983 to cater for stroke patients and their families. Priority was given to those with speech and allied problems. Over the years the scheme has progressed and we now have four Dublin based clubs where groups meet on a weekly basis and participate in therapeutic type activities, as well as physiotherapy sessions.
